I grew up in Richmond, BC, in a totally food-obsessed family. Richmond is known for its vibrant and diverse food culture, and my reverence for food — as well as my appreciation for the power dynamics surrounding it— are very much shaped by the privilege I had to be exposed to so many cuisines from a young age.
